Be wary that there is a new virus that malwarebytes and hitmanpro as well as adwcleaner could not detect. Name: discountthing Attributes: infects zipped files, adds PUPs, on chrome it adds custom "Redirector" plug-in, discountthing will show ads named "coolbuy", shows popups when you click certain buttons that may not have done that before. It seems to infect downloads folder, but I am unsure. I was in the downloads folder, I opened up a gcc source code .zip file and I found tons of files in the root of the archive with no extension and WinRAR identified the type as "discountthing"[cite: http://imgur.com/vUtYcr9].
