Many markets pay less than 100k, and that has to be balanced against cola. ## 3 Social Media Hashtag # techtwiter * Follow people who you want to be hired by * Make a profile that makes it clear you are on a journey to land your first job in tech. * Respond to other people who are looking for work. It makes you look like a good person they may watch to see good things happen for them. * Hack the twitter algorithm * Whenever you learn something new, post a thread about it * If you have any good code tips use `carbon` to format and post it and add lots of emoji * Create lists with resources for developers. Like best channels to learn programming from. * Tweet out open ended questions * Post your own memes. * Tweet every day * Multiple times per day if possible, but at lest once a day * Keep political/cultural out of it. ## 4 LinkedIn * Find people you look up to and send them a message that your looking to get into tech * Join groups for different technologies your interested in (Flask, VueJs, etc) and participate * Can take your social media posts and post them as content here ## 5 Github * Make at least 5 github commits a week.
