According to a physicist I read up on - http://www.askamathematician.com/2013/04/q-what-is-energy-what-is-pure-energy-like/ - he says that pure energy is not in reality. Well, let's just say he is lying. And I say this with utmost respect to his degree in physics. Einstein came up with that famous E = mc^2. Bam! Pure Energy! Pure E! E!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTT PHONE HOME!!!! Pardon, I got out of hand. So, energy, what is it? Allow me to explain what energy really is. Energy = Mass x SpeedOfLightInAVacuumSquared. All energy travels through a medium. That medium is most of the time in the form of energy as mass. The law of conservation of mass states this, but who cares about the law right? You download them mp3s from mp3skull every day right? Yay! Now, lets break the law in physics. Forget about the law of conservation, because laws are just keeping balance in physics, because laws are to keep a balance for a context, which the context of physics, laws help "guide" us. As a scientist, you should be open to new ideas.Wow I keep getting side tracked-- ENERGY: Pure energy moves through any medium, or *as* any medium, including mass. This has alot to do with the ether. If you think about a vacuum, it has potential energy. You know that annoying thing where someone decides to take a cup and put it on their mouths, inhale, and it sticks there? Vacuums! Where is the energy coming from? Coming from *nothing*. Or is it? See the explanation for this is ether, but why not just call it pure energy? Why would *MATTER* want to rush into something filled with nothing? The opposite of something is nothing. Negative space must be canceled out by Positive space, you could say a vacuum is "anti-matter" since, matter is something, a vacuum is nothing. Actually a vacuum is exactly that: its not filled with matter, it must be filled with energy. A vacuum interacts with objects surrounding it by pulling it in with the energy it contains. Also this would explain why, in micro-gravity, a flame goes in all directions, because the vacuum is pulling on the energy. See, energy itself has no mass, even in the form of heat, and as a candle flame. If you've ever wondered what fire is, here is your answer: it's burning oxygen. Fire is not a form of energy, it's mass turning to light, heat, and other products. Technically you could look at a flame as a plasma in this case. So now you see flame acts like or is a plasma. Fire is what we see when the energy is transferring. Energy constantly wants to be the same tempurature, or to say nonetheless, the whole universe wants to be static. Everything wants to be equally hot, never moving or moving the same, including time staying the same. Add some intelligent species, and this is delayed so long as they live. Every living creature goes extinct, then given a couple trillion years and the whole universe and time would be static. The fact is that Einstein wasn't entirely wrong, except that he only had the hint of just using light as a constant as his *only* hint. Right so if you want pure energy, put a cup on your mouth and keep breathing until there is nothing left inside, except for the vacuum that is energy. Which in that case, space is literally the source of the most energy in the entire universe: nothing.
