THE STATE OF TRANS Friday, April 29, 2016 Kremen School of Education, room 140 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Internationally recognized activist Bamby Salcedo has not only brought voice and visibility to the transgender community, but she has also advocated for those affected by migration, HIV/AIDS, and incarceration. This event is free and open to the public. Please invite your colleagues, your students, your friends, and your family to what is sure to be a fascinating presentation. This event is sponsored by the LGBT+ Allies Network, LGBTQ+ Programs and Services, the College of Social Sciences, the President's Commission on Human Relations and Equity, Latino/a Programs and Services, the Women's Studies Program, and the Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association. ASL interpreters will be present.
